(1) We use a Precision made soft-point Bullet.. The round tip design expands more reliably over a wider velocity range and is less sensitive to what it may hit (windshield glass, plate glass, and sheet metal) before the intended target.

(2) Almost all jacketed bullets currently manufactured use guilding metal or a similar alloy for jacket material. These materials are hard and brittle, thus, letting the jacket fracture upon impact, instead of stretching and flowing with the soft lead core. When the soft lead flows beyond the support of the jacket, it either is torn off or thrown off by the centrifugal force of rotation.. Our bullets copper jackets are annealed to a "dead-soft" condition giving a number of improvements over any other design. They seal the bore and engage the rifling more completely, improving accuracy and eliminating gas blowby. Barrel friction is about half that of a hard jacket bullet, thus, fouling is reduced. All of the forgoing improves accuracy.

(3) The "soft" jackets stay together, even with 3 diameters of expansion. They stretch and flow to support the mushrooming lead core, keeping the bullet intact even in extreme deformation or expansion.

(4) The "soft" jacket doesn’t do it all. Uniformity and quality are crucial. They draw their own tubing, make their jackets, and extrude their own lead cores to insure complete control and the highest quality. Virtually all bullets are made with a much harder alloyed lead core that contains tin and/or antimony. Our Bullet uses a pure lead core which is softer and ballistically superior. They are able to hold their weight control several times closer than commonly used industry standard.. Every run is held within ½ gr.

(3) Each lot is tested using custom McBros sporter rifles and is expected to shoot sub-M.O.A. (5 shot groups @ 300 yards.
